On May 27-29, 2014, the Dead Sea played host to the second international conference of the “Protecting Groundwater” program. The program is led by Friends of the Earth Middle East together with the Malaga County Council, and funded by the European Union.
On the 6th of May, 2014 representatives from FoEME led a Muslim tour to the Jordan Valley. The tour is a part of the faithbased campaign launched by FoEME that targets religious leaders from the three Abrahamic faiths to raise awareness to the degradation of the Jordan River and the need for its rehabilitation.

Delegates from the Israeli/ Jordanian Lower Jordan River Rehabilitation Committee Concluded a visit to Jordan River Valley
Delegates from the Israeli/ Jordanian Lower Jordan River Rehabilitation Committee, along with Representatives from the Jordan Valley Authority “JVA” concluded a joint visit to the eastern side of the Jordan River Valley on the 9th of April, 2014 organized by the latter and led by Ecopeace/ Friends of the Earth Middle East “FoEME”.
On the 4th of April, 2014, Students from the respective communities of West Jerusalem, Tsur Hadasa, Jordan Valley, East Jerusalem, Muath Bin Jabal, and Al Himma gathered at the Sharhabil Ben Hassneh ecological park “SHE” for a two days Youth camp.
